William Montana
Managing Director
William Montana is a Managing Director of GREA located in the Chicago office. Mr. Montana specializes exclusively in the development of acquisition and disposition strategies for owners and investors of multifamily properties. His depth of specialization and market knowledge enables him to provide a highly efficient and effective process, ultimately leading to certainty of execution, maximized returns and wealth preservation.
In his 30-year tenure, William has transacted on over $7B in multifamily properties, JV agreements and land for multifamily development. He has represented and assisted both private and institutional investors across the Midwest.
Prior to joining GREA, William along with his business partner, Christopher Sackley, worked at Greystone, Inc and were the co-leaders of Brown Gibbons Lang & Company Real Estate Partners national Multifamily Real Estate Group. William and Christopher also worked together at Cushman & Wakefield.
Mr. Montana received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and he is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the states of Illinois and Indiana. He is a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council.
