Paul McCormick

Paul McCormick holds the title of Partner – Sales Management at Ariel Property Advisors. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Investment Sales Group and Capital Services Group, leading various expansion and recruitment initiatives on the firm’s behalf. Mr. McCormick also spearheads the firm’s prolific Investment Research Group. Along with conducting Asset Evaluations for private and institutional investors, his team provides valuable insight into the New York City commercial real estate market. The Group produces a variety of widely-cited reports that are frequently mentioned in prominent news outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Crain’s, The Commercial Observer, The Real Deal, Globe St, and Real Estate Weekly. Mr. McCormick is also regularly tapped for his vast knowledge about commercial real estate and deep understanding of capital markets. He has been quoted in various well-known publications, such as The Real Deal, CoStar Group, Real Estate Finance & Investment, and the New York Real Estate Journal. Prior to joining Ariel Property Advisors, Mr. McCormick was the Assistant Vice President of Sales at Arbor Commercial Mortgage. While there, he supported a 25 person sales division that originated over $5 billion in loans across the company’s multifamily and commercial product lines, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, CMBS, Bridge, Mezzanine and Preferred Equity. He also led the development of the Arbor Select Program, which was a fast-track originators program for new hires. Earlier, Mr. McCormick served as a Sales Manager at Sterling National Mortgage and was a Vice President of Sales at Homebridge Mortgage Bankers. In these roles, he led sales teams to successfully originate, underwrite and place both commercial and residential mortgages nationwide. Academically, Mr. McCormick holds two master’s degrees. He received an MBA in finance from Long Island University, where he was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma after graduating at the top of his class. Mr. McCormick also holds an MS in Criminal Justice from Long Island University.
