Born and raised in Raleigh, Michael graduated from East Carolina University in 2014. Michael has an unending energy and passion for helping his clients achieve their real estate goals. Michael joined his father at Deaton in 2015 after two years working in general commercial real estate brokerage.
With a focus on off-market transactions, Michael has been the leading producer at Deaton since 2017 and solidified Deaton’s position as a CoStar Power Broker Award year-after-year. He is licensed in N.C and S.C. In 2020, Michael was selected to East Carolina University’s Board of Visitors and is the youngest member of the board.
Michael lives in Raleigh with his wife and their twin girls. He enjoys an active lifestyle, being outdoors, working out, playing golf and rarely sits still for more than five minutes.
