Cory Caroline Sams
Cory, a native Atlantan, focuses on Class-A transactions in suburban and secondary/tertiary markets and urban B and C Class value-add opportunities throughout the Southeast. Within that space, Cory specializes in portfolio, large transactions, and affordable/naturally occurring affordable housing. She has worked with a wide array of organizations within the real estate capital markets, including private investors, syndicators, REITs, developers, and multiple opportunity funds.
Cory has worked in the commercial and multifamily real estate industry for more than sixteen years, focusing on the Atlanta and overall Southeastern markets. Before joining the GREA team in 2009, Cory worked for the Apartment Group at Cushman & Wakefield for over three years. While with GREA, she has assisted in the sale of over 20,000 units and nearly $1.5 billion in transactional volume, with half a billion in sales in the affordable market including LIHTC, HAP and RD properties. She also has developed extensive experience in property assessment, multifamily asset consultation, financial analysis, and both qualitative and quantitative market research.
Cory is currently a licensed real estate salesperson in Georgia and Alabama. She is a member of the Commercial Board of Realtors Atlanta and a member of the Million Dollar Club.
Cory graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in International Business and Marketing.
