Barden Brown

A native Atlantan, Barden Brown focuses on both private and non-institutional multifamily investments with portfolio and single-property multifamily assets for investment sales and lending. He has experience with a wide array of organizations within the real estate capital markets, including private investors, syndicators, joint-ventures, developers, and opportunity funds. Barden uses his broad range of experience to provide comprehensive acquisition and disposition knowledge. He has recently been involved in the analysis and disposition of private client properties in excess of $5.3 billion. Barden began his career in real estate in 2005 and since that time, has developed extensive experience in business development, property analysis, borrower qualification and dispositions of multifamily assets.

In 2007, Barden received the L. Frederick Glass Rookie of the Year Award by the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors. The award recognizes the most active and successful young broker based on sales volume in the first three years of brokerage. Brown is an active member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors, the Young Council of Realtors, Urban Land Institute, and Habitat for Humanity. He has been a Guest Lecturer at Kennesaw State University, Georgia State University, The Atlanta Appraisal Institute, numerous symposiums, and speaks on various topics related to commercial real estate and finance throughout the United States. He is currently licensed and active in the State of Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

Barden received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Real Estate from the University of Georgia and studied at The London School of Economics. He resides in Atlanta with his wife and two sons.
