John A. Topping, Jr.

John Topping joined the GREA team in 2021 as Senior Director in the Atlanta office. John’s responsibilities include multifamily brokerage and advisory services throughout the Southeast with a primary responsibility for the Atlanta MSA. John’s activities are focused on institutional assets and core clients, with recent work inclusive of new-development, core, core-plus, and value-add opportunities.

Prior to joining GREA in 2021, John worked at Newmark where he was responsible for multifamily brokerage and advisory services and was involved in more than $2 billion in multifamily brokerage sales. John spent the first five years of his career as co-leader of the National Net Lease Group in the SRS Atlanta office and was involved in retail transactions totaling more than $1.5 billion in 44 states.

John attended the University of South Carolina where he received his BBA in Investment Finance and Real Estate.
